Class 0: Introduction to jQuery

I've emailed everyone who left their information below information and links to the class. A few of you didn't leave your email so I wasn't able to contact you - either email me at thatjavascriptguy@gmail.com, or we'll have to get you in next time.

Thanks, and looking forward to seeing you bright and early!

Kevin Zettler of the jZen jQuery-framework has agreed to teach this series of javascript classes. The sessions are designed to introduce a small concept very rapidly, followed by examples and detailed description, and then to drive home the idea, open question and answer time with the whole class. The introduction and example are the first 15 minutes, followed by 25 minutes of questions and answers.

The first class, scheduled for 8:15AM PST to 9:00AM PST Thursday April 8th, 2010, will cover an introduction to jQuery, including what it does and why it's so popular.

The etiquette rules are thus: Be on time. If you show up late, don't ask any questions, since you may be repeating something that has already been said. Don't interrupt the speaker at any time unless it's absolutely critical, or they invite you to speak.

These classes are all free, and done for the joy of helping the community, so we are fairly strict on making sure things go smoothly.

We're looking forward to talking with you on Thursday, and thanks again to Kevin for starting such a cool project for the community!
